MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a powerful, clinically proven treatment for improving skin texture, tone and firmness. Performed using the CODE-X Micro-Needling Device, it works by activating the skin’s natural repair processes to encourage collagen production and restore skin vitality.

Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, precise punctures trigger the body’s own repair mechanisms, encouraging increased production of collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

This treatment is ideal if you’re looking to improve skin health, address signs of ageing, refine texture and tone, or enhance the absorption of targeted serums like those used in our customised mesotherapy blends.

What can it help with?

Microneedling can significantly improve a range of common skin concerns, including:

  • Fine lines and signs of ageing

  • Uneven texture and enlarged pores

  • Acne scars and other superficial scarring

  • Pigmentation irregularities

  • Dull or dehydrated skin

  • Loss of firmness and elasticity

When combined with serum infusion or mesotherapy cocktails, the results can be further enhanced, assisting hydration, brightening and overall revitalisation of the skin.

Mesotherapy Infusion

At Sarah Jane Aesthetics, we often pair microneedling with mesotherapy infusions. This can be a combination of vitamins, peptides, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants.  They are gently introduced into the skin during the procedure. This synergistic approach greatly improves nutrient delivery to deeper layers of the dermis where it can have the most impact.

Mesotherapy complements microneedling by:

  • Enhancing hydration and nourishment

  • Supporting improved texture and tone

  • Targeting concerns such as pigmentation, dullness, acne scarring and loss of elasticity

This combined method is tailored to your skin type and goals for a truly personalised experience.

What to expect

Consultation: Every treatment begins with an in-depth consultation to assess your skin, understand your goals, and design a plan that suits your needs.

Treatment Time: A microneedling session typically takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the treatment area and desired approach.

Comfort: Most patients find the treatment very manageable. Many describe the sensation as a gentle vibration or light pressure.

Downtime: You may experience mild redness or warmth, similar to a light sunburn, which typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Most clients can return to their daily activities soon after treatment.

Results: Collagen production continues over time, so improvements become more noticeable over the weeks following treatment. A series of 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is commonly recommended for optimal results.
